About MINTvernetzt

MINTvernetzt is the central networking initiative for STEM education in Germany. The initiative supports collaboration, exchange, and innovation among organizations and individuals engaged in STEM education and outreach.

MINTvernetzt is implemented jointly by the Körber Foundation, matrix gGmbH, the Nationales MINT Forum e.V., the University of Regensburg, and the Stifterverband. The initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ).

Within this framework, the “MINT & Gender” thematic focus area works to strengthen gender-sensitive perspectives in STEM education and to improve access and participation for girls and young women in STEM fields.
