While I was laying awake last night, still suffering from a jetlag from my Alaska trip (field work – wohooooo), I decided that I wanted to give blogging another go. I started a personal blog when I moved to the US and wrote regularly for over a year – the main purpose was to keep loved ones back home updated on my life in the US. This blog will be to keep people updated on my life in academia, so not too different. I will likely write short post about science-y and personal (science related) things.
